Data Protection

The terms used below shall have the meanings set out in Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data (the “GDPR”).

Necessity of Collection, Purposes, and Legal Basis

In the course of its activities, ALCHIMIE AVOCATS may collect and process data relating to natural persons, including personal data, for purposes such as case handling and monitoring, client and prospect relationship management, billing and debt collection, and the determination of fees.
The legal basis for processing may include the performance of a contract, legitimate interests (for example, in the context of prospecting), compliance with legal and regulatory obligations, in particular when processing is required for anti-money laundering and anti-corruption measures, invoicing, or invoicing or accounting.
Collected data is processed using ALCHIMIE AVOCATS’ case management and tracking software.

Data Controller and Recipients

The data controller is ALCHIMIE AVOCATS, a French limited liability law firm (SELARL) registered with the Paris Trade and Companies Register under number 435 406 749 (NAF Code: 6910Z – Legal Activities), with its registered office at 17 rue Margueritte – 75017 Paris, represented by its legal representatives at that address.

Collected data is intended exclusively for ALCHIMIE AVOCATS and its authorized personnel (including collaborators, administrative staff, and trainees), in compliance with professional secrecy. Data is not disclosed to any commercial or advertising entity.

Data Retention

Data is retained only for the duration necessary to achieve the purposes for which it was collected or to comply with legal or regulatory obligations, in accordance with applicable statutory or professional limitation periods.

Data Hosting and Transfer

Data is hosted in France and is not transferred outside the European Union.

Rights of Data Subjects

For legitimate reasons, any individual may object to the processing of their personal data. Users are reminded, however, that failing to provide necessary information or requesting the deletion of previously provided information may prevent or delay ALCHIMIE AVOCATS from processing their request.
In accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and French Data Protection Act No. 78-17 of 6 January 1978 (“Loi Informatique et Libertés”), individuals have the right to access, restrict, rectify, erase, or delete personal data concerning them. Where applicable, they also have the right to data portability. Individuals may also provide instructions to ALCHIMIE AVOCATS regarding the disclosure or non-disclosure of their personal data after their death.
These rights may be exercised by sending an email to paris@alchimie-avocats.com, together with a copy of the identity document of the person exercising these rights.
In case of dispute, the Commission Nationale de l’Informatique et des Libertés (CNIL), the competent supervisory authority, may be contacted.
