· Defence of a technical control office in several international proceedings related to the collapse of a construction complex and the halt of a project in West Africa, including a financial claim before French courts (€22M) and simultaneous proceedings before the Common Court of Justice and Arbitration (OHADA).
· Defence of a French insurer in an international dispute involving a Polish importer of agricultural machinery, following a serious accident that resulted to the amputation of a user’s limb, concerning civil liability and cross-border regulatory compliance of the equipment.
· Defence of a foreign insurer and healthcare facility in a liability action arising from care provided abroad (outside the EU), involving multiple French and foreign institutions.
· Defence of EU and Asian manufacturers and distributors of products imported into France (equipment components and finished products) in civil liability disputes following bodily injury or property damage.
Since 2000, our firm has been the exclusive representative in France of the EUROPEAN LAW FIRM network (ELF, www.european-law-firm.com).
Founded in 1989 to meet the growing demand for legal advice across Europe, ELF was the first legal network to register in Brussels as a European Economic Interest Group (EEIG).
