Alchimie Avocats advises and represents stakeholders in the construction sector, including insurers, project managers, engineering firms, contractors, developers, and subcontractors, throughout all phases of their projects, from design to operation, and whenever their liability is engaged (building insurance, ten-year liability, operational liability, construction all risks insurance (TRC), etc.).

Our team advises and represents our clients in cases involving public and private works, renovation or new construction projects, as well as industrial works and buildings.

We combine legal rigor, technical expertise, and knowledge of applicable regulations and standards to secure operations, manage contractual, insurance, and financial risks, and defend our clients’ interests before all courts and tribunals.

· Assistance to an insurer in connection with a large-scale renovation project involving the late discovery of asbestos, resulting in additional costs of approximately €1 million on a €10 million contract, and requiring court-appointed expert proceedings to address public health issues and the liability of the various stakeholders.

· Management of litigation for a construction materials manufacturer, relating to approximately one hundred claims arising from contaminated raw materials, leading to serious structural defects and necessitating the demolition of the affected structures, with significant financial and media exposure (amounting to several tens of millions of euros).

· Defence of an engineering consultancy firm in several international proceedings related to the collapse of a construction complex and the halt of a project in West Africa, including a financial claim before French courts (€22M) and simultaneous proceedings before the Common Court of Justice and Arbitration (OHADA).
